
EYFS Teaching Assistant

- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
- Assist with early phonics, number skills, and personal development
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment where young children feel safe and encouraged
- Support pupils individually and in small groups to aid progress across key early development areas
- Help with classroom setup, displays, and the organisation of learning materials
- Provide support with personal care when needed (e.g. toileting, dressing)
- Work collaboratively with EYFS staff, SENCOs, and other professionals
- Previous experience working with children in EYFS or an early years setting is highly desirable
- A passion for working with young children and understanding of early childhood development
- Strong communication skills and a calm, caring approach
- Flexibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Right to work in the UK
