- Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote academic progress, particularly in core subject areas.
- Submit detailed session feedback via our secure online system after each lesson—this is essential for tracking progress, quality assurance, and payroll.
- Monitor student development and adapt your approach to maximise impact.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with families and TPTUTORS consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and early identification of any issues.
- A degree in Education, SEN, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching or tutoring.
- Familiarity with the UK education system.
- A track record of adapting instruction to support different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible, part-time roles – starting at 1 hour per week, with potential for more.
- Positions are temporary but may continue for multiple academic years, often lasting until students secure school placements.
- Schedule is largely self-managed and coordinated with families, though some sessions may require specific time slots.
- An initial Microsoft Teams meeting to discuss your background and onboarding steps.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one – application link provided; cost covered by applicant).
- A 10-year work history.
- References covering the past 5 years.
- Documentation: right to work in the UK, proof of address, any name changes, and a professional photo for your profile.
- Overseas police check if relevant.
- Safeguarding training (provided by us).
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
