
Young Person's Resilience Worker

- Provide 121 support to young people who are facing challenges with their drug and/or alcohol use. Support can be face to face, in groups or virtual and involves advice and guidance
- Provide psychosocial interventions to support their health and well-being needs. This may include facilitating access to clinical interventions
- Responsible for delivering educational, preventative and targeted work to young people in Coventry to ensure positive outcomes for all young people where substance misuse has the potential to be an issue as well as carrying a case load of young people requiring more specialist support.
- Have experience of engaging with young people in a variety of settings and providing interventions in response to their needs
- Have knowledge of the issues caused by substance use and the ability to interact with a range of professionals.
- Experience and knowledge of working with young people under 18
- Experience and knowledge of working with young people who use drugs or alcohol
- Experience ofsupporting and/or managing volunteers, peer mentors and students
- Experience of identifying, liaising and working with professions from a variety of services
