Job Description :Overview:We are supporting a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in their search for a Senior Utility Surveyor to join their national geospatial team. Working alongside experts in topographical, measured building, and UAV surveying, this role will lead on delivering PAS128-compliant utility mapping projects while supporting the mentoring and development of junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Deliver buried utility and drainage surveys using Electromagnetic (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)Work to PAS128 standards and produce high-quality data and CAD deliverablesCoordinate and manage live projects, including supporting bids and marketing effortsMentor junior surveyors and contribute to team learning and developmentCheck and verify survey outputs, ensuring quality and consistencySupport ongoing technical excellence and innovation across the teamTravel regularly to site (including occasional night shifts and working in adverse weather)RequirementsSkills and Experience Required:QCF Level 3/5 in Utility Mapping and Surveying, or relevant degree/HND with specialist modules5–10 years' proven experience conducting utility surveys with EML and GPR techniquesStrong background in CAD (2D/3D), GNSS, and total station useExperience in topographical surveying (desirable but not essential)Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary teamStrong attention to detail and ability to review/check others' workGood communication skills, with the ability to present technical data clearlyFull UK driving licenceBenefitsWhat’s On Offer:A structured career development planInvolvement in landmark infrastructure and local authority projectsHybrid working options and city-based office accessCompany vehicle or travel allowance (as applicable)Support for CPD and professional development
