In a world that’s ever-changing, we look to stay ahead and seek people who share our love of food and are hungry to shape the future.As the Demand Capabilities Associate for Europe, Australia & North Asia, you will be at the forefront of shaping our demand planning strategy and ensuring its effective execution across the region.You will be responsible for leading the volume PEAK IBP process, driving demand stability and identifying opportunities for improvement.The role requires a strong demand planning experienced leader with a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.You will own the capabilities roadmap, focusing on enhancing demand planning rigour and developing new capabilities which drive efficiency, continuous improvements to KPIs and business performance.What your role isDemand Governance:
  • Lead the regional demand review process (PEAK) and serve as the go-to person for stakeholders
  • Communicate and challenge effectively the 24-month forecast to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and that minimal bias is maintained. Articulate to the supply chain team risks and changes to demand shape
  • Collaborate with demand planning teams to ensure technical consistency & rigour. Drive forecast accuracy and bias improvements (Responsible for setting SP targets for core KPI’s
  • Business owner for critical submissions, including transfer pricing (S08) and key DTP’s for the supply chain, such as Green Giant harvest plan and Haagen-Dazs seasonal requirements
  • Owner of demand planning dashboards and reporting
  • Develop demand planners across the region to a standard competent level
Demand Capabilities:
  • Develop and execute demand capabilities roadmap
  • Partner effectively with General Mills India Centre, central stat forecasting team and other regions
  • Partner with other supply chain functions to identify opportunities to drive HMM and stability projects in demand forecasting
  • Identify the rigour processes to ensure demand planning remains technically robust and consistent across the region
  • Owner of critical KPI’s. Identify targets and support local markets in adherence
  • Partner closely with Int’l CoE to influence and integrate global standards
  • Escalation point for IPT/OMP & Mundial
What you will bring to the teamWe’re looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, specifically within Demand Planning. You will possess strong analytical capabilities—both qualitative and quantitative—and be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, actionable manner. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders at all levels. A proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset and strong learning agility will thrive in this role.
