- Monitor live sporting events and actively manage in-play betting markets and liabilities.
- Demonstrate expertise in identifying and responding to sharp customer behavior, ensuring market integrity and contributing to effective risk management strategies
- Conduct data analysis to model the probability of sporting outcomes and adjust pricing accordingly.
- Test and provide feedback on new sportsbook features, trading tools, and predictive models.
- Analyze market movements, betting behavior, and competitor offerings to ensure price accuracy and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations to design a seamless and scalable betting experience.
- Drive customer-centric strategies by aligning trading decisions with user feedback, data insights, and entertainment value.
- Contribute to the continual enhancement of trading processes, tools, and market offerings.
- Support various teams within the Trading department as needed, with a team-first and proactive mindset.
- Operational Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel to events or other Fanatics offices may be required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sports Trader in the sports betting industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for sports, particularly in Tennis, Soccer, and European Basketball.
- Proficiency in interpreting data and translating it into real-time pricing and risk decisions.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments requiring rapid decision-making.
- Experience with sportsbook platform testing and trading model development is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn.
- Familiarity with betting markets, odds formats, and trading software tools.
