- Conduct safety inspections of the forklift truck and complete relevant paperwork
- Maintain a steady flow of work on and off the production line
- Load operators and ensure labourers have a constant supply of items and pallets
- Scrap out shot from bays where required
- Band and wrap finished products onto pallets
- Move goods to the dispatch area and prepare work for the next shift
- Ensure correct identification and route cards are in place before products move between departments
- Assist labourers with packaging parts when required
- Scan route cards for stoving/packing operations where necessary
- Keep sheds, yard, and work areas tidy and obstruction-free
- Follow company operating procedures, health and safety policies, and PPE requirements
- General housekeeping duties as instructed by the Team Leader
- Valid external Forklift Counterbalance licence
- Previous forklift operating experience in a production environment
- Own transport is essential due to rural location
- Pay: £12.95 per hour + £12 daily shift allowance (PM shift)
- Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 6am – 3.30pm
- OR
- Monday - Thursday: 3.30pm – 1pm
