Role DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Casual Support Worker - Complex NeedsLocation:Birchington, KentPay Rate:£12.47 per hour.Hours:Zero hours, working flexibly as shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.Contract:Casual contract.Driving Requirement:A full UK manual driving license is essential.Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday's, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?Experience supporting a person like me, an autistic man with some complex health needs, would be a strong advantage. I am looking for calm, assertive people with a great sense of humour to join my team who are not easily offended. You need to support me to lead the life I want and to encourage me to be gradually more and more skilled and confident.Whilst I need a quiet and happy environment in my home, I like to do activities. I really enjoy walking, listening to music, eating out and people watching so I'd love it if you liked these things too.I'd love for people to join my team who have the same interests. Being physically fit, 100% reliable and able to provide me with personal care support.
