
Trainee Removals Manager

- Oversee daily operational planning, ensuring resources such as personnel, vehicles, and materials are efficiently allocated to meet planned moves.
- Assist with accurate financial tracking including wages and purchase orders using internal systems.
- Conduct pre-move customer calls approximately 48 hours before each job to confirm details.
- Prepare regular trading reports and forecasts to track business performance.
- Engage with customers during and after moves to monitor service quality, promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
- Manage claims investigations and ensure compliance with all transport and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date training schedule for all operational staff, supporting ongoing development.
- Ensure the branch adheres to company and industry accreditations, including ISO and BAR standards.
- Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Understand transport legislation and fleet management practices (or are eager to learn).
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
