Job Title: Trainee Removals ManagerLocation: KentSalary: Depending on experienceHours: Full-time (Office-based)About the Opportunity:Our clients, a well-established brand specialising in removals, international shipping and storage, is currently seeking a Trainee Removals Manager to join their team in Kent.In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across all facets of the removals business - from sales through to move coordination and operational management.Working closely with Branch Managers, you'll play a key part in driving branch performance by ensuring smooth daily operations, meeting financial targets, and maintaining high service standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operational planning, ensuring resources such as personnel, vehicles, and materials are efficiently allocated to meet planned moves.
  • Assist with accurate financial tracking including wages and purchase orders using internal systems.
  • Conduct pre-move customer calls approximately 48 hours before each job to confirm details.
  • Prepare regular trading reports and forecasts to track business performance.
  • Engage with customers during and after moves to monitor service quality, promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
  • Manage claims investigations and ensure compliance with all transport and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date training schedule for all operational staff, supporting ongoing development.
  • Ensure the branch adheres to company and industry accreditations, including ISO and BAR standards.
