Applications are invited from motivated individuals who will be able to provide a flexible, effective and efficient Audio Typist / Office Runner to Secretary's and their Consultants within the busy, varied and interesting ENT department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.The successful applicant must possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels throughout the Hospital and the wider Trust, as well as patients, relatives and GDP's/GPs dealing effectively and efficiently with telephone enquiries. You will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative in prioritising your work and meeting deadlines whilst maintaining high standards.Main duties of the jobTo provide a high-quality typing and secretarial service within the Ears, Nose & Throat Directorate by working collaboratively with the existing medical secretaries to ensure parity across the secretarial function.
