VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Junior Transport Manager for a major company that specialises in Supply Chain.This is a Full-time position - Monday - Friday position.Permanent position - Position of work is RandalstownSalary:Negotiable + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth OpportunitiesResponsibilities:Managing driver hours, Working Time Directive compliance, and addressing behavioural issues.Overseeing CPC training and maintaining driver records.Reporting and documenting incidents and accidents.Recording driver health and safety training.Coordinating with insurers to ensure full coverage and proper incident reporting.Ensuring accurate waste management documentation.Inspecting, maintaining, and managing lease vehicles.Handling purchase, sale, and disposal of vehicles and trailers.Using digital systems for fleet tracking and fuel card management.Conducting driver onboarding and licence checks.Maintaining the company's Operator's Licence.Keeping waste collection permits valid and driver docket books accurate.The Ideal Person:
  • Experience in similar role
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Able to build and sustain strong relationships with peers and client business leaders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills
