- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
- Mark and assess work in line with school policies (when on longer-term placements)
- Be a reliable and professional presence in the classroom
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Maths
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
