
Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics

- Full registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- MRCPCH written examinations
- Must have completed at least four years' post graduate training, at least two of which will be in the NHS and in paediatrics; or have equivalent experience and competencies.
- NLS and APLS/EPALS provider
- MRCPCH clinical examination
- Experience requisite to meeting all aspects of the job role
- Ability to maintain clinical credibility and authority with a multi-professional team
- Evidence of competence to work independently at middle grade level managing paediatric and neonatal patients with remote supervision (i.e. Consultant available but may be off site)
- Experience with audit, teaching or research/critical review of literature
- Previous experience in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to convert research evidence into clinical practice
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, patients, relatives, GPs, nurses and other agencies
- Commitment to Continuing Medical Education and the requirements of Clinical Governance and Audit
- Commitment to Continuing Medical Education and the requirements of Clinical Governance and Audit
