Contract: 12 months FTCLocation: Remote with (occasional travel to your local UK hub)Salary: £37,000 - £50,000 + great benefitsThe OpportunityAre you an experienced Buyer with a background in IT or financial services procurement? This is your chance to join a forward-thinking organisation on a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting key categories such as IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cyber, managed services, telecoms, and credit risk agencies.You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, build supplier relationships, and deliver commercial value through smart sourcing and negotiation.What You'll Do
  • Lead tendering processes and procurement initiatives across IT and banking operations.
  • Negotiate contracts that secure the best terms for the business.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Deliver against savings targets while supporting business strategy.
  • Keep on top of market trends and supplier developments to drive innovation.
  • Promote best practice procurement and compliance.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven procurement experience (ideally IT/software/telecoms/banking ops).
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage contracts and identify key risks.
  • Excellent communicator with stakeholder management expertise.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Nice to have:
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards it).
  • Knowledge of risk processes and commercial/legal frameworks.
