Key Responsibilities
·Operating a roller to compact asphalt to the required density and finish.
·Working closely with the paver crew and Screwsman to achieve consistent, high-quality surfacing.
·Carrying out daily checks and basic maintenance of the roller.
·Monitoring surface levels and ensuring compaction meets specification.
·Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all site health & safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements
·Previous experience operating rollers within road surfacing.
·Good understanding of asphalt compaction and surfacing techniques.
·Ability to work effectively as part of a surfacing gang.
·Valid CSCS card (essential).
·Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
