Job descriptionEarly Years Teacher – LittlehamptonLocation: Littlehampton Start Date: September 2025 Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £33,488.00 per annumProspero Teaching is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join a nurturing nursery team. In this leadership-focused role, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager and collaborate with the Quality Excellence team to drive outstanding outcomes for children, families, and practitioners.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a vital part of the management team, you will:Lead and support your team through daily guidance, coaching, and role modellingDeliver the EYFS curriculum with flair and impactPromote a fun, inclusive, and safe environment that supports each child’s growthUphold the nursery’s vision to be a leading early years providerWork in close partnership with families and fellow professionalsDrive continuous improvement and uphold best practices across the settingWhat We’re Looking ForA Level 6 qualification in Early Years or Education (EYTS, EYPS, QTS, PGCE, BA/BSc)Experience working in the early years sector, with a solid understanding of the EYFSStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team (previous management experience desirable)Knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and quality standardsA current enhanced DBS checkA warm, humorous, and professional approach with genuine passion for working with childrenEligibility Criteria:Must have the right to work in the UKEnhanced child barred list DBS certificate (on the update service or willingness to apply)Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training)References available upon requestWhy Join Prospero Teaching?Free, accredited CPD courses including safeguarding and behaviour managementAccess to a dedicated in-house Training & Development TeamOngoing support from a friendly and experienced recruitment consultantA Role of Interest?
