
Engineering Technician

- Diagnostic and repair of mechanical vehicle systems i.e. engine and chassis systems
- Software updates and testing.
- Service, diagnostics & repair operations on current vehicles.
- Provision of technical feedback for fault identification and support of subsystem development.
- Preparation, fitment & removal of test components.
- Assembly / replacement of systems / components.
- Manufacture / modification of electrical harnesses.
- Diagnose / trace faults, rectify and validate issues.
- Use of computer diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret drawings and liaise with engineering departments.
- Fitment of harnesses and other components.
- Engineer "one off" solutions to overcome issue.
- Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
- Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower-level employees.
- Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.
