Location: West Midlands regionRate: £300-400 per day (Ltd/Umbrella)An organisation in the public sector is seeking two experienced Travel Plan Consultants to join their team on a part-time basis (around 1 day per week). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver a financially sustainable Travel Plan process that will drive long-term improvements in sustainable transport across the region.Responsibilities:
- Designing a system – Develop a cost-neutral approach to delivering Travel Plans in schools, new developments, employment centres, and healthcare facilities
- Building a team – Establish and lead a small delivery team, with the goal of making the programme self-sustaining
- Creating real impact – Help reduce congestion, improve air quality, and promote sustainable travel for local communities
- A strong background in developing and delivering Travel Plans
- Experience building and managing teams
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to design financially sustainable programmes
- Project management experience and relevant qualifications (preferred)
