If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable - please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.Project Delivery ManagerCoventryWhat you will be doing:An opportunity has arisen for an Project Delivery Manager to join the team at Lintott, a Galliford Try business.The Project Delivery Manager is a key leadership position within Lintott Control Systems requiring a communicative, enthusiastic, and skilled individual with a strong project delivery background to lead the Lintott Coventry Project Management team, facilitating key project success criteria inclusive of contractual, legislative, and business targets.What you will be doing:
- Lead project delivery within the organisation, fulfilling key project criteria aligned to contractual requirements (typically delivered via NEC suite of contracts). This includes ensuring timeliness of deliverables, timeliness and accuracy of contractual notifications, adherence to project budgets, fulfilment of the full scope of work, identifying and mitigating scope creep risk, maintaining strong project performance.
- Managing the organisation's team of Project Managers, providing mentoring, guidance, and effective interpersonal management for all team members to uphold a high-performing team.
- Communicate effectively as the focal point for all stakeholders, possessing strong interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally and purposefully with internal and external personnel.
- Lead monthly reviews and subsequent reporting of project status within the organisation, including accurate & timely cost-to-complete forecasting, identification and communication of project risks and mitigating the impacts of change.
- Work with the local team to develop & maintain the Departmental Development Plan. Report Projects & Commercial activities on a regular basis to the board of directors, ensuring accurate & timely reporting of Measures of Performance. Ensure these are fit for purpose & fuel continuous improvement.
- Evaluate departmental risk(s), taking mitigating action therein. Maintain excellent knowledge of commercial & contractual requirements, as well as future changes & developments.
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Where necessary investigate & meet with suppliers, partners & sub-contractors. Where applicable, attend client / supplier forums.
- Present solutions and overcome local constraints to enable the delivery of projects on-time, in-budget and upholding strong quality.
- Be a key leadership voice within the organisation, participating in management team initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and championing organisational change.
- Ensure full compliance with the Company's Business Assurance Standards in all relevant reporting, documentation, record keeping and procedures.
