A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Coeducational Comprehensive Secondary School in South East London.This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will operate on a temporary basis in the first instance.If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to; supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students complete their work and providing feedback to the team in relation to pupils behaviour.The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor role will be between £82.14 and £130, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.The SchoolA Mixed Community Secondary School for pupils aged 11 to 16 years old, located in the London Borough of Lewisham.There are currently around 1100 pupils enrolled at the school.It was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in the most recent inspection.Good quality of education, the improvements the school have continued to make and the high expectations they set for all were highlighted as key areas of positivity.RequirementsYou're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Cover Supervisor:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of working with children/young people aged 11 to 16 years old or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
