- Lead and manage a small team of 2 Housing Officers and 1 Housing Assistant, ensuring high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee tenancy management, including complex cases, legal possession actions, and court attendance.
- Promote tenancy sustainment and resident engagement across the service.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Support service improvement and contribute to strategic objectives.
- Proven experience in housing management, ideally within a local authority or housing association.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff and driving performance.
- In-depth knowledge of social housing legislation and tenancy law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external agencies, and elected members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
