- Design and support electronic products for major OEMs across multiple sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and design files.
- Travel to the electronics lab in Bedfordshire as needed for hardware development and issue resolution (remote work supported).
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in electronics hardware design from concept to production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with broad knowledge of electronic technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Self-motivated, methodical, and adaptable to different project types and client expectations.
- Commercial experience in electronics design.
- Mixed analogue and digital design with microcontrollers.
- Schematic capture using Altium.
- Structured design approach and technical documentation skills.
- FMEA, validation, and approvals experience.
- Project time management.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligible for SC Clearance.
- Switched mode power supply design.
- Experience with microprocessors (8–64 bit).
- Understanding of EMC design requirements.
- Embedded programming experience or awareness.
- Version control systems.
- Communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet, RS485, USB, CAN/Ethernet diagnostics.
