We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic waking night support workers, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference to the quality of a person's life by supporting them with their night time routines. This can include administering medication, intimate personal care including showering/bathing, dressing or undressing, assisting with toileting etc. You will have an understanding of the importance of promoting independence and enabling positive life choices.If you have experience of working in a care setting or provided informal care and support to family or friends then we would love to hear from you. You must understand that a person is at the centre of the care and have a willingness to learn and develop your skills.The work includes weekends and bank holidays. Additional enhancements are paid for night work / weekend work on top of the basic salary. Additional hours may also be available on top of the contracted hours.
