This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a days-based position which offers security and ongoing development.This role would suit a multiskilled maintenance engineer. You can come from any manufacturing background. Fabrication and TIG welding experience would also be advantageous but not essential.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance on automated production equipment such as packing and filling machines. The role will carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance works, including working with 3 phase motors and pumps.The Maintenance Engineer Role:· Planned maintenance and breakdown repair work on production equipment· Working with PLCs· Reading electrical drawings· Routine PPMs – lubrication, changing seals, meter readings, bearings, conveyors etc.· Pneumatic fault finding· TIG Welding and fabrication· FMCG environment· Medium to high volume productionThe Maintenance Engineer Person:· Multi skilled maintenance engineer· Experience within manufacturing environment
