  • Assist in the implementation of creative teaching methods tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote inclusive learning.
  • Provide individualised support to students with SEN to enhance their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback to the teaching team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
Education:Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)Experience:Experience working with students with Special Educational NeedsKnowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Further qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection
Working Conditions:This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The candidate may need to provide support to students with varying levels of SEN. The working hours are full-time, following the school timetable. The job may require some flexibility in terms of tasks and hours based on the needs of the students and the school.
