Salary: £13.75 - £15 per hourAre you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Colne, providing tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).About the Role:As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, adapting to their individual needs.
- Assist the class teacher with general TA duties, including lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Implement EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans) and support students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence.What We’re Looking For:- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning abilities.
