- Inspect and verify incoming rail cars and bulk trucks for correct materials, seal integrity, and general condition prior to unloading
- Coordinate with logistics and scheduling teams to ensure timely unloading
- Connect hoses, operate pumps, and manage transfer systems in compliance with safety and environmental procedures
- Collect and label samples for quality control and lab analysis
- Monitor unloading operations to prevent overfills, spills, or cross-contamination
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation and inventory records in SAP or relevant systems
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs.
- Communicate any irregularities, delays, or safety concerns promptly to supervision
- Follow all site-specific PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and confined space entry procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall plant operations and team goals
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Prior experience with chemical receiving operations or industrial material handling is a plus
- Ability to follow SOPs and read material safety data sheets (SDS)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions and with physical demands (e.g. climbing railcars)
- Familiarity with SAP or other inventory tracking systems is advantageous
- Ability to climb ladders and rail cars, walk across uneven surfaces, and stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 55.1Pounds(25kg)
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, rain, or humidity
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall protections, respirators, hard hats, chemical suits, and etc.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, kneeling, or reaching overhead
- Work is performed in an industrial setting with exposure to chemical handling processes and outdoor environmental conditions.
- Some mandatory overtime and occasional shift adjustments are required to support operational needs.
- Work may involve confined spaces, elevated areas, and the use of appropriate PPE.
