Private Client Locum Solicitor - Ongoing Assignment | Immediate StartA well-regarded and busy private client team is seeking an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor to provide interim support. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and self-sufficient locum to join a reputable firm with a consistent and high-quality caseload.Role Details:
  • Position: Private Client Locum Solicitor
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Office-based at least 2 days per week (flexibility for more if preferred)
  • Duration: Ongoing assignment (with potential for extension)
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum of 2 office days; remote flexibility around this)
Key Responsibilities:Managing a varied private client caseload including:
  • Wills
  • Probate
  • Estate administration
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Trusts and tax planning (if experienced)
  • Independently progressing matters from instruction to conclusion
  • Delivering excellent client care and maintaining professional standards
  • Using a case management system for efficient file handling and compliance
Requirements:
  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive with solid experience in private client law
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a supportive team
  • Availability to attend the office at least 2 days per week is essential
  • Competent with digital systems and modern case management software
