NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00 (37.5 hours).This post will be based at Woodlands Resource Centre.The post holder will be part of the Business Support Team within East Dunbartonshire HSCP, working directly with the multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team to support the service. The post holder will be required to communicate with all users of the service. It is essential that the post holder has excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of personalities and in particular the over 65 care group.Essential
  • Experience gained within an office environment
  • Experience of dealing with a high volume of complex calls
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to follow protocols for work areas and contribute to review of these protocols
  • Ability to prioritise workload and exercise initiative

  • Previous NHS Experience
  • Understanding of the function of the professions with the multi-disciplinary team.
