Role Overview:Senior Theatre Practitioner position in the Theatre department
Applicant Criteria:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
- Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty (e.g., Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification for scrub leads)
- ENB 998 and/or mentorship course
- Approved/recognized anaesthetic course
- ILS certification
- Orthopaedic skill
- Mentorship qualification
- ILM3
- Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment
- Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team
- Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
- Support, coordinate, and actively assist in the management and organization of care within the operating department
- Provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership
- Lead in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time
- Ensure that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with the policy and that all practitioners adhere to the policy
- Contribute to quality improvement
- Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
- Promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice
- Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly
- Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Private Hospital Group behaviors at all times
