SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: CoventryHours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm)Weekly Salary: £450 to £475Contract: Temporary (opportunities to go perm)Are you ready to take the next step in your career and embrace a rewarding new challenge?Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people, particularly those who need additional support to reach their full potential?Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are motivated by helping others and who are committed to supporting both academic and personal development.The school caters for pupils aged 3 to 16 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other complex learning or developmental needs. Many students will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place, which outlines the tailored support they require.As a Teaching Assistant, your role will involve:Providing 1:1 support to pupils who require focused attention and guidance.Assisting with small group learning, helping children to engage with lessons and activities.Supporting pupils in developing social, emotional, and communication skills alongside their academic studies.Working closely with class teachers and other staff to adapt resources and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.Encouraging independence and celebrating progress, no matter how small.As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all applicants will subject to standard vetting checks:

  • Applicants who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years will be required to present an Overseas Criminal Check (police check)
