The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in the fascinating topics within Design and Technology.   • Plan and deliver engaging and informative Design and Technology lessons that cater to the varied needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated.
  • Use a range of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning experiences and promote active participation.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, schemes of work, and innovative teaching approaches.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to maintain strong partnerships and ensure the success of students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for sharing it with others.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and the pursuit of excellence in teaching.
