Digital transactional is a dynamic division of TWDC responsible for the digital distribution of the full slate of movies and TV content produced by The Walt Disney Company.
The Coordinator, Digital Stores Management is instrumental in growing Disney’s digital transactional business across key 3rd party Digital Stores and Online Retailers in Europe, Middle East & Africa, covering both ownership (EHVL) and rental (TVOD) business models. The individual will be working
closely with the wider stores management team to support partners in these markets to drive the sales of digital content. This role is based in the Regional Digital Stores Management Team in London, covering all global and local retailers, and has responsibility for the following key areas:
a) New releases: provide administrative support for the successful launch of new and upcoming content across digital stores in various EMEA markets.
b) Catalogue: collaborate with the team on catalogue projects and price promotional initiatives aimed at driving revenue from library content.
c) Team ad-hoc and project assistance: support account managers on both global and local accounts in day-to day business; respond to internal stakeholder’s requests; assist on ongoing projects.The fast growing, quick changing space crossing digital, technology and business would suit a commercially focused, organised and passionate business professional with a background in digital content. The individual should bring a high attention to detail, have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to project-manage and work effectively under deadlines and in complex environments.What will you do
a. New Release support
- Provide administrative support related to the coordination and input of information using
- Collaborate with external partners to coordinate the selection of bundles and bonus content ahead of upcoming releases
- Assist in the preparation and review of internal presentations that highlight Disney’s new release support across both on-store and off-store channels
- Monitor digital storefronts to identify competitor initiatives and regional/local trends related to new releases
- Work closely with the team’s supervisor and intern to support catalogue price promotion, including:
b. maintaining and updating internal trackers
c. conducting performance analysis of promotional activity
- Provide administrative support for the coordination of library re-releases (e.g, 4K editions of catalogue titles)
- Tracking competitor activity related to price promotions
- Respond to ad hoc queries and support requests from internal stakeholders, including providing insights and performance data when required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including deal management, marketing, finance and operations on projects aimed at strengthening external partnerships and maximizing revenue opportunities
- Experience of working in an international environment, preferably Film and TV distribution, TV
- Experience in content planning and tracking as well as maintaining ongoing reports preferred
- Ability to quickly pick up new ways of working
- Experience in working with / exposure to digital platforms beneficial
- Proactive and flexible approach with ability to react quickly
- Ability to self-manage and balance multiple projects and priorities
- Highly organized and able to prioritise, with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills/database experience
- Strong level of Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook/internet skills required
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written
