This is a physically demanding role in a busy depot where Health and Safety regulations will be adhered to at all times. You play a vital role in ensuring excellent standards of service are provided. We require someone who wants to develop and progress within this role to Yard Supervisor.Reporting to: Depot ManagerOperational responsibilities:· General housekeeping to be maintained throughout the day including maintaining stock levels, stock rotation and stock counts· Safely of loading and unloading· Goods in/out quality checked and checked for accuracy.· Responsible for doing forklift daily checks, fuelling up.· Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.RequirementsHow you do it:· You have an accredited Forklift Truck License essential· You have a valid UK Driving Licence (held for a minimum of 1 year)· No more than 6 Penalty Points on Licence· You are a great team player, helping colleagues to complete their tasks when required.· You are courteous, friendly and professional to your colleagues and customers ensuring customers leave feeling valued and respected.· You have great care and attention to detail· You remain calm in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.· Be flexible with start and finish times dependent on business requirements· You may be required to carry out deliveries depending on the business needs.We require someone who wants to learn, progress and help build the depot and take it to the next level.Other information🌟 Join Us for a Career Beyond Ordinary! 🌟Discover a workplace that values your well-being and success.
