Simon Acres Group are working with a well-respected independent builders merchant seeking a qualified HGV Driver with HIAB to join their team at a branch in the Huddersfield area.Salary: up to £38,000 DOEWorking hours:Week 1: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00Week 2 : Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00 & Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00Key responsibilities:Transport building materials to designated sites in a timely and professional mannerEnsure safe and accurate delivery of goods to both trade and residential customersOperate HIAB equipment safely to load and unload materials as requiredPerform daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance inspectionsMaintain accurate delivery records and logsAssist with loading and unloading goods where necessaryProvide excellent customer service and represent the business in a professional mannerAdhere to all relevant road traffic laws and company health & safety proceduresIdeal Applicant:Holds a valid HGV (Class 2) licence and HIAB certificationProven experience in a similar delivery role, ideally within a builders merchant environmentClean driving record with strong road safety awarenessConfident operating HIAB cranes and carrying out manual handling tasksExcellent time management and reliabilityStrong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approachApply now and speak with Dovile to find out more!Simon Acres Recruitment are acting as the employment agency for this position.
