The RoleThis role sits within the retail team as part of the Buying team. One of three Junior Buyers, this role is line managed by the Buyer and works collaboratively with the Merchandising, Ecommerce and Front of House teams to deliver brand aligned jewellery ranges worthy of the V&A reputation. This is a fixed term position for the period of 1 year.This role is responsible for the sourcing and development of jewellery ranges for all V&A shops including exhibition ranges. As one of our highest grossing product categories, the V&A shops are renowned for their jewellery selection, attracting both new and repeat customers seeking out unique design and high-quality craftsmanship. This role works closely with independent makers to deliver unique ranges, cementing the V&A shops as a key destination for jewellery shopping in London.While based at South Kensington, this role works across all London V&A sites, including V&A East and Young V&A.
As a fixed term position during an exciting time for the V&A as we expand to new sites in East London, this role will focus on delivering ranges for our upcoming 2026 and 2027 exhibitions, as well as contributing to core seasonal ranges for our South Kensington site.This role would suit an experienced junior Buyer with a passion for jewellery, craft and design looking for exciting new projects.About the V&A:The V&A is a family of museums dedicated to the power of creativity.
