
Project Manager

- Define detailed engineering requirements for projects and spare parts requests
- Provide updated cost estimates and part numbers to the Sales team
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the engineering phase of the project
- Verify that designs meet contractual obligations and technical performance standards by conducting initial drawing reviews
- Manage project schedules, monitor lead times across departments and suppliers, and proactively address potential delays
- Coordinate the preparation of supporting documentation, including drawings, manuals, and packing lists
- Organize and lead project review meetings, including taking minutes, issuing actions, and tracking follow-up
- Monitor and track project expenditures against the approved budget
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms and provide procurement information to the purchasing department
- Issue orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the SAP/ERP manufacturing system
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners, including Design, Production, Suppliers, Stores, Despatch, and Freight Forwarders
- Conduct final quality checks on all project materials prior to packing and shipment
- Prepare and maintain accurate project packing lists
- Oversee and support the packing and dispatch processes
- Review and respond to technical reports received from site activities
- Log and distribute site reports, including photographs and related documentation
- Analyse project costs and spending in comparison to budgeted figures
- Document any project changes, modifications, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Track outstanding project tasks and manage them through to resolution
- Collaborate with the Costing department to evaluate and validate project margins
- Prepare and issue project handover certificates upon completion
- Provide remote technical support for warranty and post-sales service issues
- Identify and evaluate spare parts requirements and associated costs
- Previous experience issuing orders with BOMs on SAP/ ERP Manufacturing system
- Previously worked as a Project Manager or in a similar role
- Worked in an engineering/manufacturing environment (desirable)
