Excavator Operator

• Operate excavators to move earth, gravel, sand, rock, and other materials.
• Load and unload materials safely onto trucks or designated areas.
• Perform trenching, grading, and excavation tasks according to project specifications.
• Inspect and maintain the excavator, including checking fluid levels, brakes, and other mechanical components.
• Follow site plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Collaborate with ground workers, truck drivers, and other site staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours operated.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment around the equipment.

• Valid excavator operator license or certification.
• Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
• Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
