Are you a skilled and certified telehandler driver looking for immediate, short-term work? We're seeking a reliable professional to provide essential holiday cover on a busy new build housing site in Beverley. If you're available to step in and help keep our project running smoothly, we want to hear from you!About the Role:Your responsibilities will include:
  • Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials (e.g., bricks, timber, roofing supplies) across the site.
  • Delivering materials promptly and precisely to different trades and work areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.
  • Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport teams.
  • Performing daily machine checks to ensure safe operation before use, and reporting any issues immediately.
  • Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritising a safe working environment.
  • Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination.
Role Requirements:We need someone who:
  • Has proven experience as a Telehandler Driver, ideally with a background in new build housing sites.
  • Holds a valid and relevant Telehandler certification (e.g., CPCS or NPORS). This is an essential requirement.
  • Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy construction environment.
  • Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to their work.
  • Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site at all times.
  • Is available for an immediate start to cover the specified holiday period.
  • Full UK driving licence.
