Start Date: ASAPWe're working with a leading defence engineering business in Surrey who are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to support a high-profile project. This role will involve inspection, testing, and fault-finding of complex electronic assemblies in line with IPC standards and formal documentation.Role Overview
- Perform inspection of electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards
- Carry out formal testing using approved procedures and record results accurately
- Conduct component-level fault-finding on analogue and digital circuit designs
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve test failures and implement corrective actions
- Maintain calibration and ESD compliance for all test equipment used
- Proven experience as an Electronics Test Technician within Defence, Aerospace, or similarly regulated sectors
- Knowledge of IPC standards for assembly inspection
- Strong background in analogue/digital electronics fault diagnosis
- Ability to work to formal test documentation in a controlled environment
- Active UK Security Clearance (SC)
