- Lead the establishment of a learning and development culture within Commercial
- Develop and execute (in consultation with key Medical, Marketing and Commercial stakeholders) an outcome driven global Learning Capability and development strategy (with a focus on In-field team excellence)
- Work with Medical, Marketing and Franchise Leaders to ensure Learning Priorities are aligned with Global Brand/Commercial and Launch Priorities, to deliver Therapeutic Area/Product Knowledge and Capabilities training, at a high quality and within agreed timelines that maximizes value/impact in –market.
- Ensure Learning/Capability development is delivering measurable/impact outcomes in market.
- Ensure development and training needs are established via key stakeholders and identify development priorities.
- Preparing Ipsen global and country commercial teams on new launches within our 3 core therapy areas of Rare Disease, Oncology and Neuroscience
- Work with Affiliate Development Leads and key stakeholders to define competency frameworks and development/training solutions with a focus on in field excellence.
- Produce and deliver training and development plans in line with the annual planning cycle that identifies development priorities and defines the specific initiatives to improve business performance.
- Build and develop the required non-technical soft skills to ensure there is a strong patient and customer focus to all development programs for our commercial teams.
- Work proactively with Affiliate Training & Development leads to ensure Commercial Training Strategy is implemented and executed ensuring clear communication and smart collaboration.
- Ensure that affiliate learning needs are addressed/met/executed by the Training & Development community (Global Commercial Training and Local).
- Work closely with Global Brand Teams, Global HR Learning Function and Affiliate Training leads to ensure training and development activities are delivered at a high quality and within agreed timelines to deliver maximum value/impact in –market.
- Identify opportunities for colleagues within Ipsen to lead, participate and co-create on Commercial Training initiatives.
- Science/Medical related and Business/Marketing related qualifications.
- Essential: - Qualification in training development and delivery
- Min 8 years’ Experience in the design, development, implementation and delivery/facilitation of training and development initiatives spanning across product based and soft skills training
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical specialist sales and marketing processes
- Demonstrable understanding of Learning and Development theory and skills at local & regional/global level
- Ability to work in cross functional, multicultural & global setting
- Budget and project management
- Excellent organisation, planning and management ability
- Demonstrated Experience in successfully influencing a cross functional team of people from ( a mix of experience, skill- sets and roles)
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Experience working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing a high performing team
- High level of proficiency (written and verbal) in English required
- French (optional – is a plus)
- Strong leadership, people management, communication and influencing skills and commitment to Commercial excellence
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and an ability motivate a team to execute plans and achieve outcomes in accordance with deadlines
