As a key member of our Field Service team, you will:Lead and supervise maintenance and outage activities for gas turbines and associated equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.Plan and coordinate outage manpower, identify critical paths, and ensure seamless execution.Interpret technical documents and drawings to oversee disassembly, inspection, and assembly of turbines and related equipment.Drive continuous improvement by developing and reviewing procedures, documentation packages, and quality control processes.Support steam turbine and generator teams on outages as required.Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of Mitsubishi Power Europe’s Field Service Support Team, you will:Lead and supervise gas turbine, steam turbine, generator and auxiliary equipment outages, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to Mitsubishi Power standards.Plan and coordinate all outage activities including manpower, tooling, parts logistics and critical path schedules.Interpret and apply technical drawings, procedures and specifications during disassembly, inspection and reassembly.Implement and monitor quality control and safety standards throughout project execution.Review inspection and disassembly data and provide technical recommendations to customers and internal teams.Develop, review and improve field procedures, documentation packages and outage execution processes.Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management, providing timely updates and reports.Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians, contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvementWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who combines technical expertise with leadership and communication skills:4+ years’ experience in the power plant sector (gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, or large rotating plant).Time-served apprenticeship in Power Industry, Engineering Degree or equivalent.Strong English communication skills (mandatory).Proficiency in standard office software.Proven experience in team leadership, budgeting control, HSE compliance, and quality assurance.Why Mitsubishi Power Europe?Work on state-of-the-art power generation technology in an international environment.Be part of a collaborative, proactive team that values integrity, safety, and innovation.Contribute to outage planning, execution, and improvement while making a real impact on the energy sector.
