Whether you're newly qualified or looking to build your coaching experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with university students and make a real impact on both participation and competitive sport.
As a volunteer coach, you'll support enthusiastic players of all abilities and help shape the future of sport at Chester. Clubs train twice a week, and we ask that coaches commit to attending at least one session weekly. Final training days and times will be confirmed shortly.The department is looking for a voluntary coach to work with the swimming club. The clubs competes regularly in the British Universities Swim League (BUSL)Job purpose:To coach university sport clubs
To follow the sportCHESTER coaches code of conduct
To have regular contact with the Sport Development teamKey duties and responsibilities:To lead and deliver structured coaching sessions to all members of the club, being inclusive of all abilities
To work collaboratively with club captains and committee members
To follow the sportCHESTER coaches code of conduct
To act in a professional manner as expected of a sports' coach
To hold a Level 1 coaching qualification in the relevant sport
Experience of playing the relevant sport to at least club standard
To undertake a DBS prior to commencement
