This dual role involves managing the candidate compliance and registration process, as well as providing operational support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in all matters of safeguarding and child protection.Key ResponsibilitiesDeputy Safeguarding Officer DutiesSupport the DSL in implementing safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practice.Respond to and act on safeguarding concerns or disclosures from staff or service users.Accurately record, escalate, and report safeguarding issues confidentially and professionally.Liaise with external agencies, including social services and the police, when required.Provide guidance and support to staff on safeguarding-related matters.Attend regular safeguarding training and remain up to date with legal and procedural updates.Act as the DSL in their absence, ensuring continuity
