- Working with senior members of the EMEA Insurance Solutions team to cover a variety of clients from Insurers, Reinsurers, Asset Managers and Sponsors on a range of topics related to Insurance and Insurance Balance Sheets
- Candidate will be involved in a variety of situations from M&A, asset structuring & distribution, hedging solutions, ALM optimization and reinsurance solutions
- Primary areas of focus will be to work and support the Global Co-Head of Insurance Solutions on the development of the business in Europe with a particular focus on asset solutions and Sponsor-related dialogue
- Relevant experience working with or for a UK or European Insurer, with a particular focus on ALM topics
- Some fundamental knowledge of European Insurance regulation, although where absent, a proven ability to learn complex topics quickly and adeptly
- Proven ability to multitask and work with different clients across different products and situations in a fast-paced work environment.
- Highly team oriented, commercially driven, and overall eagerness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills, easily able to navigate and simplify complex processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong quantitative skills including proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, with experience in doing in-depth research or development on new topics
- A core interest in Financial Markets
