– Carry out precise microtomy to prepare tissue samples for pathologist examination.
– Manage and maintain laboratory equipment ensuring everything is in top working condition.
– Accurately handle and document patient samples, always following quality and safety guidelines.
– Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to microtomy and other laboratory processes.
– Coordinate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow.To be considered for this role, you must:
– Have previous UK experience working as a Medical Lab Assistant or MLA.
