This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and support a great cause while developing your retail and management skills.📍Location: All Guild Care Stores,⏰Hours: 0 Hour Contract, weekend availability required.💷Salary: SP9 | £12.56 per hour📆Closing Date: 17th September at 5pmKey Responsibilities:Deputise for the Shop Manager and provide full holiday coverAssist in achieving income targets and maximising salesHelp manage stock control, processing donations, and shop presentationEnsure accurate financial procedures including banking and cash handlingSupervise, support, and motivate a team of dedicated volunteersUphold excellent standards of customer service and shop cleanlinessAttend relevant meetings and training as requiredLiaise with Furniture Scheme Manager for logistics of stock transfersAbout the roleAbout the RoleAs Deputy Manager, you'll play a key part in supporting the Shop Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and profitability of the shop. You'll also be the go-to person during the manager's absence and will be expected to provide full holiday cover, including weekend hours, when required.You'll assist in meeting sales targets, maintaining high visual and operational standards, supporting volunteers, and delivering outstanding customer service.
