You'll lead daily operations, drive innovation, and be a key member of the College Management Team.Key responsibilities include:
- Lead day-to-day operations across campuses
- Drive teaching, learning and assessment quality
- Support curriculum innovation and progression pathways
- Manage staff performance, CPD and deployment
- Monitor attendance, behaviour and learner engagement
- Oversee qualification structures and assessment schedules
- Liaise with employers and stakeholders
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance
- Participate in duty manager rota and college events
- Maintain accurate records via ETrackr
- Champion English and Maths outcomes
- Experience in curriculum leadership within FE or HE
- Proven ability to improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire teams
- Willingness to teach up to 288 hours annually
- Team Management: A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing teams within an educational setting is essential. You should demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire staff, foster a positive working environment, and drive performance improvements.
- Teaching Excellence: Successful candidates will have a proven track record of excellence in teaching within the Maths disciplines. Your experience should showcase innovative teaching methodologies, student engagement strategies, and measurable outcomes.
- Quality Improvement: Experience in implementing and driving quality improvement processes is highly desirable. You should have a keen understanding of assessment frameworks, awarding body requirements, and strategies for enhancing student success rates.
- Liaison with Awarding Organisations: Candidates should have experience in liaising with Awarding Organisations, managing assessment processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Experience as a GCSE examiner or involvement in examination processes is advantageous.
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD): Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to personal and professional growth is essential. You should demonstrate a willingness to stay abreast of educational trends, pedagogical advancements, and industry developments.
