Optical Store Manager – Kings Cross, Central London | £40,341 + BenefitsA unique and independent eyewear brand is looking for a full-time Optical Store Manager to lead their stylish store in Kings Cross, Central London.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in optical retail management or optical practice management to join a brand known for blending traditional frame craftsmanship with modern techniques. The Kings Cross store offers a distinctive shopping environment with a focus on high-quality handmade eyewear and exceptional customer service.About the Role
  • Manage all day-to-day operations of the optical store, ensuring smooth running and excellent customer experiences
  • Lead and support a dedicated team of retail and dispensing staff, including an Assistant Manager, to meet sales and service targets
  • Provide expert advice on lens and frame selection, working closely with the in-store optometrist and glazing partners
  • Oversee stock management, store procedures, and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to exceed financial goals and uphold brand reputation
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in optical store management or a similar retail leadership role, ideally within an independent or boutique practice
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage people and resources effectively
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and high standards in eyewear retail
  • Excellent communication skills and confident working independently
  • Detail-focused with a keen interest in eyewear design and quality

Store Opening Hours
Monday – Saturday: 10am - 7pm
