Cover People are working with a supportive secondary school in South Manchester who are looking for a dedicated English teacher to join their department on a short term supply basis. This mainstream secondary school are looking for an English teacher to support them while they recruit for and English teacher on a permanent basis.Requirements:🎯 QTS (Qualified Teaching Status).🎯 Experience Teaching English at UK Secondary Level.🎯 A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.🎯 Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators while also being able to work independently🎯 Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators while also being able to work independently.Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Deliver English lessons across KS3/4
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Engage in creative writing activities that stimulate students' imagination and enhance their writing skills.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on educational trends.
